Florida High School Football - Citrus falls to Central

October 17, 2025: Brooksville, FL 34613

The Central Bears felled the visiting Citrus Hurricanes football team by a score of 47-16 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Bears face the Tenoroc Titans (Lakeland, FL) in a non-league test, on Friday, October 24. Central will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Titans come into the test with a 3-5 record after their 28-14 non-league win over Anclote (Holiday, FL).

With the defeat, Citrus drops to 0-9 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Crystal River (Crystal River, FL) to meet the Pirates in a 3A District 7 test on Friday, October 24. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 3-6. Crystal River lost 36-20 in their recent league test against Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL)
