Virginia High School Football - Chantilly nudged by South Lakes

In Friday's league game, the South Lakes Seahawks (Reston, VA) football squad tipped the visiting Chantilly Chargers (Chantilly, VA), by a margin of 33-28.

The Seahawks now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to James Madison for a District 1 outing on Friday, October 24. South Lakes will clash with a Warhawks squad coming off a 35-32 league loss to Centreville (Clifton, VA). The Warhawks record now stands at 3-4.

With the defeat, Chantilly falls to 3-4 on the year. The Chargers host Oakton (Vienna, VA) to battle the Cougars in a District 1 contest on Friday, October 24. The Cougars enter the contest with a record of 3-4. Oakton lost 29-25 in their recent league contest against Westfield (Chantilly, VA)
