Indiana High School Football - Charlestown smashes Eastern

October 17, 2025: Pekin, IN 47165

The Charlestown Pirates (Charlestown, IN) football trounced the host Eastern Musketeers (Pekin, IN), 49-6 in Friday's league outing.

The Pirates now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Silver Creek for a non-league outing on Friday, October 24. Charlestown will clash with a Dragons squad coming off a 32-21 league loss to Corydon Central (Corydon, IN). The Dragons record now stands at 3-6.

With the defeat, Eastern drops to 1-8 on the campaign. The Musketeers travel to Paoli (Paoli, IN) to battle the Rams in a non-league contest on Friday, October 24. The Rams enter the contest with a record of 7-2. Paoli won 50-7 in their recent non-league contest against North Knox (Bicknell, IN)
