Illinois High School Football - Red Bud falls to Chester

The Chester Yellowjackets felled the host Red Bud Musketeers football team by a score of 42-18 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets play the Nashville Hornets (Nashville, IL) in a non-league test, on Friday, October 24. Chester will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 5-3 record after their 28-18 league loss to DuQuoin (DuQuoin, IL).

With the defeat, Red Bud drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Musketeers travel to Saxony Lutheran (Jackson, MO) to meet the Crusaders in a non-league test on Friday, October 24. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 3-4. Saxony Lutheran won 42-28 in their recent non-league test against Massac County (Metropolis, IL)
