In Friday's league game, the Cholla Chargers (Tucson, AZ) football team triumphed over the host Rincon/University Rangers (Tucson, AZ), by a tally of 36-0.

Next up, the Chargers encounter the Rio Rico Hawks (Rio Rico, AZ) in a 4A Gila bout, on Friday, October 24. Cholla will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 36-0 league loss to Pueblo (Tucson, AZ).
