Tennessee High School Football - Christian Brothers can't hold off Lipscomb Academy
October 17, 2025: Memphis, TN 38166 Lipscomb Academy Mustangs (Nashville, TN) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Christian Brothers Purple Wave (Memphis, TN), 27-24 in a league battle.
With the win, Lipscomb Academy upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Briarcrest Christian (Eads, TN) to confront the Saints in a Division II-AAA West match on Friday, October 24. The Saints come into the match with a record of 5-3. Briarcrest Christian lost 34-31 in their recent league match against Brentwood Academy (Brentwood, TN)
