In Friday's non-league game, the Swartz Creek Dragons (Swartz Creek, MI) football team edged the host Clio Mustangs (Clio, MI), by a tally of 21-20.

In their next game, the Dragons battle the Glenn Bobcats (Bay City, MI) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 24. Swartz Creek will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Bobcats enter the game with a 5-3 record after their 38-0 non-league win over Powers Catholic (Flint, MI).
