Riverbend Bears (Fredericksburg, VA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Colonial Forge Eagles (Stafford, VA), 41-27 in a league battle.

With the win, Riverbend upgrades its record to 7-0 on the year. The Bears travel to Stafford (Falmouth, VA) to confront the Indians in a Commonwealth match on Friday, October 24. The Indians enter the match with a record of 3-4. Stafford lost 28-16 in their recent league match against Massaponax (Spotsylvania, VA)

Coming up next, the Eagles confront the Mountain View Wildcats (Stafford, VA) in a Commonwealth match, on Friday, October 24. Colonial Forge will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 2-6 record after their 42-9 league loss to North Stafford (Stafford, VA).
