Washington High School Football - Columbia River sneaks past Ridgefield

The Columbia River Rapids football squad scored 19 points and limited the visiting Ridgefield Spudders to 14 in the Rapids league triumph on Friday.

The Rapids now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Washougal for a 2A Greater St. Helens challenge on Friday, October 24. Columbia River will play a Panthers team coming off a 62-0 league win over R.A. Long (Longview, WA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, Ridgefield drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Spudders travel to R.A. Long (Longview, WA) to meet the Lumberjacks in a 2A Greater St. Helens test on Friday, October 24. The Lumberjacks come into the test with a record of 0-7. R.A. Long lost 62-0 in their recent league test against Washougal (Washougal, WA)
