The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Cooper City Cowboys (Cooper City, FL) and the host South Plantation Paladins (Plantation, FL), saw Cooper City's football team nip South Plantation by a final score of 56-49.

With the win, Cooper City advances its record to 5-3 on the season. The Cowboys host Cypress Bay (Weston, FL) to encounter the Lightning in a non-league bout on Friday, October 24. The Lightning go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Cypress Bay lost 26-0 in their recent league bout against Western (Davie, FL)

The Paladins now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to McArthur for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 23. South Plantation will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 39-6 non-league win over Fort Lauderdale (Fort Lauderdale, FL). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-2.
