Westminster Christian Academy Lions (Watkinsville, GA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Covenant Academy Rams (Macon, GA), 39-18 in a league battle.

With the win, Westminster Christian Academy advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Lions host Community Christian Academy (Martinez, GA) to encounter the Ambassadors in a non-league battle on Friday, October 24. The Ambassadors go into the battle with a record of 3-3. Community Christian Academy won 52-14 in their recent league battle against Victory Christian (North Augusta, SC)

Coming up next, the Rams confront the Monsignor Donovan Catholic Rams (Athens, GA) in a GIAA 8-Man Region 1 (8 Man) match, on Friday, October 24. Covenant Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 5-2 record after their 68-0 league win over John Hancock Academy (Sparta, GA).
