California High School Football - Salesian thwarted by Crespi

October 17, 2025: Encino, CA 91316

Crespi Celts (Encino, CA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Salesian Mustangs (Los Angeles, CA), 31-16 in a league match.

The Celts (8-0) will now prepare for their match against Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, CA). The Wolverines come into the Del Rey match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Harvard-Westlake defeated Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA), 21-12, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Mustangs confront the St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA) in a Del Rey battle, on Friday, October 24. Salesian will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Saints go into the battle with a 2-6 record after their 29-0 league win over La Salle (Pasadena, CA).
