In Friday's league game, the Derry Trojans (Derry, PA) football team overcame the visiting Mt. Pleasant Vikings (Mt. Pleasant, PA), by a tally of 33-13.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Yough Cougars (Herminie, PA) in a WPIAL AAA Interstate game, on Friday, October 24. Derry will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 41-7 league loss to Greensburg Salem (Greensburg, PA).
