Pennsylvania High School Football - Easton Area nips Freedom

October 17, 2025: Easton, PA 18045

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Easton Area Rovers (Easton, PA) and the visiting Freedom Patriots (Bethlehem, PA), saw Easton Area's football team nip Freedom by a final score of 17-14.

With the win, Easton Area advances its record to 9-0 on the season. The Rovers travel to Nazareth Area (Nazareth, PA) to encounter the Blue Eagles in a Eastern Pennsylvania - Northampton bout on Friday, October 24. The Blue Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Nazareth Area lost 41-28 in their recent league bout against Northampton (Northampton, PA)

The Patriots now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Liberty for a Eastern Pennsylvania - Northampton contest on Saturday, October 25. Freedom will confront a Hurricanes squad coming off a 35-20 league win over Bethlehem Catholic (Bethlehem, PA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 6-3.
