Mississippi High School Football - Enterprise thwarted by Taylorsville
October 17, 2025: Taylorsville, MS 39168 Taylorsville Tartars (Taylorsville, MS) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Enterprise Bulldogs (Enterprise, MS), 42-12 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Taylorsville improves its record to 4-4 on the season. The Tartars host Richton (Richton, MS) to play the Rebels in a 1A Region 8 challenge on Friday, October 24. The Rebels go into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Richton lost 34-30 in their recent league challenge against Stringer (Stringer, MS)
The Bulldogs (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Clarkdale (Meridian, MS). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Region 6 test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Clarkdale was defeated by Mize (Mize, MS), 45-0, in a league test.
