New York High School Football - Fallsburg thwarted by Sullivan West
October 17, 2025: Lake Huntington, NY 12752 Sullivan West Bulldogs (Lake Huntington, NY) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Fallsburg Comets (Fallsburg, NY), 21-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Sullivan West improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Tri-Valley (Grahamsville, NY) to play the Bears in a Section 9 8-Man 1 (8 Man) battle on Saturday, October 25. The Bears go into the battle with a record of 2-4. Tri-Valley won 36-12 in their recent league battle against Rockland Central (Livingston Manor, NY)
The Comets now have a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Eldred for a Section 9 8-Man 1 (8 Man) battle on Thursday, October 23. Fallsburg will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 52-40 non-league win over Onteora (Boiceville, NY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 5-2.
