In Friday's non-league game, the Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL) football team overcame the visiting Fivay Falcons (Hudson, FL), by a tally of 39-21.

In their next game, the Buccaneers battle the River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL) in a 4A District 10 game, on Friday, October 24. Gulf will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Royal Knights go into the contest with a 6-2 record after their 46-7 league loss to Clearwater (Clearwater, FL).

Coming up next, the Falcons battle the Zephyrhills Bulldogs (Zephyrhills, FL) in a 4A District 8 contest, on Friday, October 24. Fivay will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 8-0 record after their 20-14 non-league win over South Sumter (Bushnell, FL).
