North Carolina High School Football - Forbush crushed by Mount Airy

October 17, 2025: East Bend, NC 27018

The Mount Airy Granite Bears walloped the host Forbush Falcons football team by a score of 45-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Granite Bears face the Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC) in a Northwest 3A/4A challenge, on Friday, October 24. Mount Airy will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 42-15 league loss to North Surry (Mount Airy, NC).

The Falcons (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC). The Cardinals go into the Northwest 3A/4A challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, East Surry was ripped by West Stokes (King, NC), 47-28, in a league challenge.
