Fuquay - Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Smithfield-Selma Spartans (Smithfield, NC), 51-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Fuquay - Varina advances its record to 4-4 on the season. The Bengals travel to South Garner (Garner, NC) to play the Titans in a Greater Neuse River 7A battle on Friday, October 24. The Titans go into the battle with a record of 3-5. South Garner lost 29-3 in their recent league battle against Garner (Garner, NC)

The Spartans now own a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cleveland for a Greater Neuse River 7A match on Friday, October 24. Smithfield-Selma will meet a Rams squad coming off a 28-10 league win over Southeast Raleigh (Raleigh, NC). The Rams record now stands at 8-0.
