In Friday's league match, the host Richard Montgomery Rockets football squad scored a decisive 52-14 triumph over the Gaithersburg Trojans.

The Rockets (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Rockville (Rockville, MD). The Rams come into the non-league match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Rockville routed Loch Raven (Towson, MD), 7-6, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Trojans confront the Magruder Colonels (Rockville, MD) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 25. Gaithersburg will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Colonels come into the match with a 2-5 record after their 15-12 non-league win over Kennedy (Silver Spring, MD).
