Indiana High School Football - Griffith tops Wheeler

The Griffith Panthers football squad scored 34 points and limited the host Wheeler Bearcats to 10 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now hold a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hammond Bishop Noll for a non-league test on Friday, October 24. Griffith will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 21-14 league loss to Boone Grove (Valparaiso, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 2-7.

With the defeat, Wheeler drops to 7-1 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Lake Station Edison (Lake Station, IN) to clash with the Fighting Eagles in a non-league outing on Friday, October 24. The Fighting Eagles come into the outing with a record of 6-3. Lake Station Edison lost 19-6 in their recent non-league outing against River Forest (Hobart, IN)
