In Friday's non-league game, the Honaker Tigers (Honaker, VA) football team edged the host Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA), by a score of 31-28.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Patrick Henry Rebels (Glade Spring, VA) in a Hogoheegee game, on Friday, October 24. Honaker will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Rebels enter the game with a 2-5 record after their 30-20 league loss to Holston (Damascus, VA).
