The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Huntingdon Bearcats (Huntingdon, PA) and the visiting Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA), witnessed Huntingdon's football squad topple Penns Valley Area by a tally of 35-23.

The Bearcats (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Richland (Johnstown, PA). The Rams enter the Laurel Highlands contest with a 8-1 record. In their last bout, Richland overcame Bedford (Bedford, PA), 42-14, in a league bout.

The Rams now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westmont Hilltop for a Laurel Highlands match on Friday, October 24. Penns Valley Area will confront a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 55-15 league loss to Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 0-9.
