Florida High School Football - South Choctaw Academy can't hold off Jay

Jay Royals (Jay, FL) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting South Choctaw Academy Rebels (Toxey, AL), 13-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Jay upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Wewahitchka (Wewahitchka, FL) to confront the Gators in a non-league match on Friday, October 24. The Gators come into the match with a record of 2-6. Wewahitchka lost 42-15 in their recent non-league match against FAMU DRS (Tallahassee, FL)

Coming up next, the Rebels play the Monroe Academy Volunteers (Monroeville, AL) in a AISA AA Region 2 battle, on Friday, October 24. South Choctaw Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Volunteers go into the battle with a 7-2 record after their 50-28 non-league win over Edgewood Academy (Elmore, AL).
