October 17, 2025: North Plainfield, NJ 07060 The Johnson Crusaders football squad scored 36 points and limited the host North Plainfield Canucks to 0 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Friday.
The Crusaders now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Perth Amboy for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 24. Johnson will face a Panthers team coming off a 34-14 non-league win over Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 1-7.
The Canucks (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Metuchen (Metuchen, NJ). The Bulldogs go into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Metuchen bounced Brearley (Kenilworth, NJ), 27-9, in a non-league test.
