The White River Hornets (Buckley, WA) football trounced the host Kent-Meridian Royals (Kent, WA), 49-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Hornets now sport a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Decatur for a 3A North Puget Sound outing on Friday, October 24. White River will clash with a Golden Gators squad coming off a 53-0 league win over Kentlake (Kent, WA). The Golden Gators record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, Kent-Meridian drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Auburn Mountainview (Auburn, WA) to clash with the Lions in a 3A North Puget Sound outing on Friday, October 24.
