Florida High School Football - Key West tops Lehigh

The Key West Conchs football squad scored 40 points and limited the visiting Lehigh Lightning to 22 in the Conchs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Conchs now hold a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Jackson for a 3A District 16 challenge on Friday, October 24. Key West will face a Generals team coming off a 42-0 non-league loss to True North Classical Academy (Miami, FL). The Generals record now stands at 0-7.

The Lightning (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverview Sarasota (Sarasota, FL). The Rams go into the 7A District 8 challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Riverview Sarasota lost by Venice (Venice, FL), 46-23, in a league challenge.
