Pee Dee Academy Golden Eagles (Mullins, SC) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Lee Academy Cavaliers (Bishopville, SC), 62-36 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Pee Dee Academy advances its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Bethesda Academy (Savannah, GA) to confront the Blazers in a SCISA 2A Region I match on Friday, October 24. The Blazers come into the match with a record of 7-0. Bethesda Academy won 28-26 in their recent non-league match against Williamsburg Academy (Kingstree, SC)

Coming up next, the Cavaliers confront the St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers (Moncks Corner, SC) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 24.
