Pennsylvania High School Football - Shamokin Area trounces Loyalsock Township

October 17, 2025: Coal Township, PA 17866

In Friday's non-league match, the host Shamokin Area Indians football squad scored a decisive 42-7 triumph over the Loyalsock Township Lancers.

The Indians (9-0) will now prepare for their match against Mount Carmel (Mount Carmel, PA). The RED TORNADOES go into the non-league battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Mount Carmel routed Milton (Milton, PA), 48-25, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Lancers meet the Montoursville Warriors (Montoursville, PA) in a Heartland II match, on Friday, October 24. Loyalsock Township will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 7-2 record after their 38-14 league win over Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA).
