The Madison Central Jaguars felled the host Murrah Mustangs football team by a score of 45-14 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Jaguars face the Germantown Mavericks (Madison, MS) in a 7A Region 2 challenge, on Friday, October 24. Madison Central will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Mavericks come into the test with a 4-3 record after their 43-42 league loss to Oxford (Oxford, MS).

With the defeat, Murrah drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Starkville (Starkville, MS) to meet the Yellowjackets in a 7A Region 2 test on Friday, October 24. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 5-2. Starkville won 28-7 in their recent league test against Clinton (Clinton, MS)
