In Friday's league game, the Wheeler Mustangs (Wheeler, TX) football team triumphed over the visiting Memphis Cyclones (Memphis, TX), by a tally of 55-0.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Clarendon Broncos (Clarendon, TX) in a 2A-2 Region II District 5 outing, on Friday, October 24. Wheeler will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Broncos come into the outing with a 1-6 record after their 30-24 league win over Shamrock (Shamrock, TX).

With the defeat, Memphis drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Cyclones host Quanah (Quanah, TX) to clash with the Indians in a 2A-2 Region II District 5 outing on Friday, October 24. The Indians come into the outing with a record of 3-4. Quanah lost 51-13 in their recent league outing against Wellington (Wellington, TX)
