Middletown Middie Bears (Middletown, NY) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY), 36-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Middletown advances its record to 3-4 on the season. The Middie Bears host Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY) to confront the Warriors in a non-league match on Friday, October 24. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 3-4. Our Lady of Lourdes won 32-14 in their recent league match against Beacon (Beacon, NY)

Coming up next, the Vikings confront the Kingston Tigers (Kingston, NY) in a Section 9 AA match, on Friday, October 24. Valley Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 1-6 record after their 35-8 non-league loss to Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY).
