Spectators at Friday's league bout between the Miller Grove Wolverines (Lithonia, GA) and the host South Atlanta Hornets (Atlanta, GA), saw Miller Grove's football team nip South Atlanta by a final score of 14-7.

With the win, Miller Grove advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Wolverines host Salem (Conyers, GA) to encounter the Seminoles in a AA Region 6 bout on Friday, October 24. The Seminoles go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Salem lost 47-7 in their recent league contest against Redan (Stone Mountain, GA)

Coming up next, the Hornets confront the Redan Raiders (Stone Mountain, GA) in a AA Region 6 battle, on Friday, October 31. South Atlanta will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record.
