The Stafford Spartans felled the visiting Navasota Rattlers football team by a score of 46-38 in Friday's league test.
The Spartans now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brazosport for a 4A-1 Region III District 12 test on Friday, October 24. Stafford will meet a Exporters squad coming off a 30-9 league loss to Needville (Needville, TX). The Exporters record now stands at 1-6.
With the defeat, Navasota drops to 5-2 on the campaign. The Rattlers travel to Fort Bend Willowridge (Houston, TX) to face the Eagles in a 4A-1 Region III District 12 challenge on Saturday, October 25. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 1-6. Fort Bend Willowridge lost 49-21 in their recent league challenge against Almeta Crawford (Rosharon, TX)
