The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Nonnewaug/Lakeview/Shepaug Valley Chiefs (Woodbury, CT) and the host Platt RVT Panthers (Milford, CT), witnessed Nonnewaug/Lakeview/Shepaug Valley's football squad knock off Platt RVT by a tally of 61-34.

The Chiefs (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame Prep (Fairfield, CT). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame Prep was toppled by Weston (Weston, CT), 38-35, in a league contest.

Next up, the Panthers encounter the Wilcox Tech/Kaynor RVT (Meriden, CT) in a Connecticut Tech contest, on Friday, October 31. Platt RVT will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record.
