Florida High School Football - Vanguard can't hold off Palm Beach Central

Palm Beach Central Broncos (Wellington, FL) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Vanguard Knights (Ocala, FL), 29-28 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Palm Beach Central advances its record to 4-4 on the season. The Broncos travel to Wellington (Wellington, FL) to play the Wolverines in a 7A District 12 battle on Friday, October 24. The Wolverines go into the battle with a record of 3-5. Wellington won 49-15 in their recent non-league test against Olympic Heights (Boca Raton, FL)

With the defeat, Vanguard drops to 6-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Gainesville (Gainesville, FL) to play the Hurricanes in a 4A District 5 challenge on Friday, October 24. The Hurricanes go into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Gainesville lost 65-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Williston (Williston, FL)
