October 17, 2025: Pilgrims Knob, VA 24634 Phelps Hornets (Phelps, KY) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Twin Valley Panthers (Pilgrims Knob, VA), 36-8 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Phelps advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Hornets host Hurley (Hurley, VA) to play the Rebels in a non-league battle on Friday, October 24. The Rebels come into the match with a record of 3-4. Hurley lost 58-34 in their recent league match against Grundy (Grundy, VA)
