The West Marion Trojans football squad scored 33 points and limited the host Presbyterian Christian Bobcats to 21 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now hold a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pass Christian for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 24. West Marion will play a Pirates team coming off a 49-0 league win over Moss Point (Moss Point, MS). The Pirates record now stands at 7-1.

The Bobcats (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Stanislaus (Bay St. Louis, MS). The Rock-a-Chaws go into the 3A Region 8 challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, St. Stanislaus lost by St. Patrick (Biloxi, MS), 38-21, in a league challenge.
