The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ) and the host Woodbridge Barrons (Woodbridge, NJ), witnessed Summit's football squad edge Woodbridge by a tally of 10-7.

The Hilltoppers (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Raiders enter the Big Central - United Gold contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Scotch Plains-Fanwood was nudged by Perth Amboy (Perth Amboy, NJ), 34-14, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Barrons battle the St. Joseph Falcons (Metuchen, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, October 25. Woodbridge will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 7-0 record after their 41-19 non-league win over St. Thomas Aquinas (Edison, NJ).
