The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA) and the host South Gate Rams (South Gate, CA), witnessed Garfield's football squad edge South Gate by a tally of 20-16.

The Bulldogs (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA). The Rough Riders enter the contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Roosevelt got by South East (South Gate, CA), 28-21, in a league contest.
