October 17, 2025: Pagosa Springs, CO 81147 Fruita Monument Wildcats (Fruita, CO) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Pagosa Springs Pirates (Pagosa Springs, CO), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Fruita Monument moves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Durango (Durango, CO) to confront the Demons in a 5A/4A Southwestern outing on Saturday, October 18. The Demons go into the outing with a record of 7-5. Durango lost 4-0 in their recent league outing against Grand Junction (Grand Junction, CO)
Next up, the Pirates confront the Bayfield Wolverines (Bayfield, CO) in a 3A Intermountain outing, on Tuesday, October 21. Pagosa Springs will attempt to improve on its 10-2 season record. The Wolverines go into the outing with a 6-7 record after their 2-1 league win over Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO).
