October 17, 2025: Crystal Lake, IL 60014 Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Crystal Lake South Gators (Crystal Lake, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Geneva improves its record to 16-15 on the season. The Vikings travel to Normal Community (Normal, IL) to face the Ironmen in a non-league test on Friday, October 17. The Ironmen go into the test with a record of 23-4. Normal Community won 2-0 in their recent league test against Urbana (Urbana, IL)
The Gators now own a 10-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Charles East for a non-league test on Saturday, October 18. Crystal Lake South will play a Fighting Saints team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to South Elgin (South Elgin, IL). The Fighting Saints record now stands at 12-15.
