In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Nazareth Academy Roadrunners volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Lake Park Lancers.

The Roadrunners (13-15) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Francis (Wheaton, IL). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 18-10 record. In their last test, St. Francis went down by St. Laurence (Burbank, IL), 2-1, in a league test.

The Lancers now sport a 9-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aurora East for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 18. Lake Park will play a Tomcats team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Elgin (Elgin, IL). The Tomcats record now stands at 2-24.
