Washington, DC High School Soccer - Sidwell Friends held off by Georgetown Day
October 18, 2022: Washington, DC 20007 In Tuesday's league battle, the host Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Sidwell Friends Quakers.
The Mighty Hoppers (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Bell (Washington, DC). The Griffins come into the non-league battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Bell was nudged by St. John's (Washington, DC), 7-1, in a non-league battle.
The Quakers (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Flint Hill (Oakton, VA). The Huskies come into the MAC battle with a 3-9 record.
