October 18, 2023: Shelby, NC 28152 The Huss Huskies football team (Gastonia, NC), was beaten 29-6 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC)
The Chargers (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Mountaineers come into the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Kings Mountain was beaten by Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC), 20-8, in a non-league challenge.
The Huskies now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ashbrook for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 26. Huss will meet a Greenwave team coming off a 20-8 non-league win over Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Greenwave record now stands at 6-3.
