October 18, 2023: Bridgeport, CT 06610 Wilbur Cross Governors (New Haven, CT) backers left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Harding Presidents (Bridgeport, CT), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Governors battle the Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT) in a Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset match, on Friday, October 20. Wilbur Cross will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record. The Gaels come into the match with a 12-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT).
With the loss, Harding drops to 5-10 on the campaign. The Presidents host Stratford (Stratford, CT) to battle the Red Devils in a non-league match on Tuesday, October 24. The Red Devils come into the match with a record of 14-4.
