The Newton South Lions topped the host Westford Academy Grey Ghosts volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Wednesday's league test.

The Lions now have a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wayland for a Dual County test on Friday, October 20. Newton South will confront a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 league win over Waltham (Waltham, MA). The Warriors record now stands at 10-6.

The Grey Ghosts (1-12) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln-Sudbury (Sudbury, MA). The Warriors enter the Dual County test with a 5-11 record.
