October 18, 2024: Lafayette, LA 70506 The Acadiana Rams (Lafayette, LA) football trounced the visiting Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA), 55-10 in Friday's league outing.
The Rams now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Southside for a 5A District 3 outing on Friday, October 25. Acadiana will clash with a Sharks squad coming off a 41-0 league win over Sulphur (Sulphur, LA). The Sharks record now stands at 5-1.
With the defeat, Lafayette drops to 3-4 on the year. The Lions travel to Barbe (Lake Charles, LA) to face the Buccaneers in a 5A District 3 challenge on Friday, October 25. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Barbe won 35-7 in their recent league challenge against New Iberia (New Iberia, LA)
