West Virginia High School Football - Oak Hill sneaks past Buckhannon-Upshur
October 18, 2024: Buckhannon, WV 26201 The Oak Hill Red Devils football squad scored 19 points and limited the host Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers to 13 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Friday.
The Red Devils now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bluefield for a Coalfield AA test on Friday, October 25. Oak Hill will meet a Beavers squad coming off a 21-8 non-league win over Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Beavers record now stands at 3-3.
With the defeat, Buckhannon-Upshur drops to 0-8 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Grafton (Grafton, WV) to meet the Bearcats in a Big Ten test on Friday, October 25. The Bearcats come into the test with a record of 2-5. Grafton won 64-57 in their recent non-league test against Clay County (Clay, WV)
