October 18, 2024: Destrehan, LA 70047 The Destrehan Wildcats (Destrehan, LA) football tipped the visiting Captain Shreve Gators (Shreveport, LA), 46-42 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Wildcats now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Central Lafourche for a 5A District 8 outing on Friday, October 25. Destrehan will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 35-0 league loss to Hahnville (Boutte, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-3.
With the defeat, Captain Shreve drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Gators host Parkway (Bossier City, LA) to clash with the Panthers in a 5A District 1 outing on Friday, October 25. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 6-1. Parkway won 49-22 in their recent league outing against Huntington (Shreveport, LA)
